I’m Gillian — a visual poet living and working on Bullongin Country, on Australia’s Gold Coast.My art and poetry are created to provoke thought.

The work seeks an initial impact, then draws the viewer inward — inviting questioning, reflection, and personal connection. Each encounter asks something of the audience: to relate, to respond, to sit with what arises.

My practice examines, delves, and probes. At times the relationship may feel uncomfortable or challenging; at others, playful and celebratory. In every instance, it remains authentic.
